Trail to Golubin Glacier also takes its beginning at Ala-Archa Park. We attempted to hike this trail twice trying to squeeze the trip into one day. None of them were successful. Every time we had to turn back only about 30min away from the glacier. First time we didn’t have enough time. The trail trace was almost gone and we spent some time to find our way.

Next time, we knew the trail better, but the weather condition made the hike impossible. As part of the path goes through moraine, when it is raining stones become very slippery. Plus, we were not ready to meet pierced wind and snow on the top of the mountain on our second ascent.
